ChargeLink – Terms of Use

1. Platform Role and Limitation of Liability

ChargeLink is a technical service that facilitates payment requests between users (service providers) and their clients. ChargeLink does not verify, validate, or control the content, pricing, accuracy, or legality of any payment request, invoice, receipt, or description submitted by users.

By using ChargeLink, you agree and understand that:

• ChargeLink is not the seller, service provider, or payee in any transaction.
• All payment requests are generated by users at their sole discretion.
• Users are fully and solely responsible for the accuracy, content, legality, and delivery of any goods or services they describe or offer through the platform.
• ChargeLink is not responsible for verifying the identity of either party involved in the transaction.

2. Financial and Legal Responsibility

ChargeLink:

• Does not collect, hold, or control user funds. All financial transactions are processed directly by Stripe via Stripe Connect.
• Is not financially liable for any amounts charged, paid, refunded, or disputed between users and their clients.
• Will not be held responsible for any disputes related to transaction value, service performance, fraud, tax compliance, or misrepresentation.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChargeLink, its owner, and its affiliates from any claims arising out of their activities or transactions conducted through the platform.

3. Legal Compliance and Cooperation

ChargeLink complies with all valid legal processes and obligations. If requested by Stripe, government authorities, or law enforcement, ChargeLink will:

• Cooperate by providing audit logs, user data, transaction metadata, and other relevant platform records;
• Follow any lawful instruction regarding transaction blocking, account investigation, or data disclosure.

However, ChargeLink does not actively monitor, vet, or audit transactions, and is not responsible for detecting or preventing fraud, scams, or illegal behavior beyond providing standard technical infrastructure.

4. Automated Nature of the Service

ChargeLink is a self-service, automated tool. You acknowledge that:

• The platform is not moderated or manually reviewed on a per-transaction basis.
• You, as the user, bear full responsibility for what you submit, to whom you send it, and under what terms.
• ChargeLink does not edit, alter, approve, or validate your submitted content.
